"They played tennis, badminton; polo was very common there. My uncle played a lot of tennis. Some of them were film stars and some of them were obviously English people you know? Because we had a contract with them and, you know, there used to be a lot of English people coming in and out of the house, American and English. Indian film stars like Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand and…uh, especially Raj Kapoor.
(Laughs) I used to play badminton. My uncle was a member of the NS, uh, the National Sports Stadium Club. Bombay is a port, an airport, a very famous seaport. Ships from all over the world come there. Big Hollywood, Bollywood, I should say, industry there.
I’d say to Laila – her name was Laila – I’d say “Laila, chup!” (laughs) you know, and Laila would (barks) (laughs). And, and, and of course Meena Kumari used to go up, climbing five stairs at a time, you know, she was very scared of dogs, which was not very nice [of me] now I think about it (laughs). But, c’est la vie, you know?
Very, very enjoyable time as a young girl in my unmarried days, you know. But…that’s, that’s another story."

Island Kids
04:11
|
|||
we used to fall asleep on the beaches every night to the whistle of the wind and your golden hair swayed gentle by my side
i remember when you took me down to the waters edge all crystal clear and the ripples they would shimmy round our naked legs
have we left it behind now? did we leave it behind? is it lost in the past or are we still
all the island kids they need a bit of sun and they need a bit of drink but they can be happy even when it rains cos the caribbean flows through their veins
we're the island kids we like a bit of sun and we like a bit of drink but we can be happy even when it rains cos the caribbean flows through our veins
we would dive down deep and explore the ocean floor where the rays of the moon and the glow of the phosphorescence kept us warm
in your underwater aura you were perfect and all i could think was i never ever want this moment to end
but everything comes to an end yes everything comes to an end this isn't the end no so let's still be
all the island kids they need a bit of sun and they need a bit of drink but they can be happy even when it rains cos the caribbean flows through their veins
we're the island kids we like a bit of sun and we like a bit of drink but we can be happy even when it rains cos the caribbean flows through our veins
all the island kids
we're the island kids we like a bit of sun and we like a bit of drink

Au Naturel
02:52
|
|||
i feel his hand on my chest and thats how it all starts
the feeling is so natural this feeling so au naturel
i take a deeper breath as the carnal flower blooms
im feeling oh so natural she said let's go au naturel
i wanna be naked in your love
she takes off my shirt and thats where i get lost
im in my mothers arms again back in my mothers arms again
i feel her lips on my neck and maybe i wont last
his arms around my neck again his arms around my neck again
i wanna be naked in your love
ill tie myself up and dive into your hair
your scent is overpowering your scent is overpowering
ill give myself up and pour all into you
your scent is overpowering your scent is overpowering
i wanna be naked in your love

back back back back in savanna
i cannot hold it together
hot as hell heart of the grassland
sun beats down callous on my hands
i cant see you everythings everywhere everythings everywhere
count my steps desert is endless
my mirage fades in the distance
hear my roar as i flex my colours
i cant see you everythings everywhere everythings everywhere
i cant see you everythings everywhere everythings everywhere
